Our next 'First Sunday' Tasting will be on October 6th from 11am. This month we are making a journey back in time to when we produced Pinot Noir. We first planted Pinot in the 80s, using three different clones available at the time in Victoria. But as it turned out these clones were not suited to the drought that struck in the late 90s, and despite producing some really lovely wines, we decided to pull the vines out in 2009.
However we recently opened some older vintages and they are drinking beautifully, so we are very much looking forward to sharing them with you - perhaps you will experience another side to the Craiglee red wine catalogue, something akin to Pat's acoustic album. He may well wear a beret on the day.
And if you are unable to join us at cellar door, we have put together another of our popular 6-Packs - this time a Pinot Noir Lucky Dip. 6 bottles of varying Vintage for $180 (+$10 postage). The pack can be ordered here.
And we look forward to seeing you on Sunday October 6th!
