We have had a busy week of trade tastings, with Dianne heading to Kyneton for the Uplands Tasting and Pat heading first to Melbourne and then Sydney to show off our latest releases. It was lovely to get a very strong response, especially from Mike Bennie over at Wine Front who today wrote that he had "made a beeline [because] an audience with vigneron Pat Carmody is just so awesome". He has written up a couple of lovely reviews and we will share them with you in the coming weeks.
In other news, if you're following along at home, pruning continues...but we're getting there!
We are also very much looking forward to our
August First Sunday tasting, which will be this
Sunday, August 4th, from 11am.
We will be taking a relaxed look at the current release wines - an opportunity to compare our 95 point 2015 Shiraz with Pat's latest experiment, the 2015 Eadie's Block Shiraz. As ever, the tasting is a great chance to discuss firsthand the methodology behind splitting off the different blocks and to taste the difference.
We look forward to seeing you Sunday!
